A Family Run Business with Packaging at Its Heart

Tidmas Townsend Ltd are a family run business that has lived and breathed packaging for over 90 years. The company has always strived to provide its customers with cost effective packaging solutions, be that items from our stock range of thousands of products, or from our effective bespoke design and manufacture service, whilst maintaining the level of service that only an independent family run business can provide.

From our premises in the beautiful county of East Sussex we have grown our Southern based customer group up to a national network of manufacturers, online retailers, distribution centres, logistics companies, fulfilment firms and packaging merchants.

Acquisitions, Manufacturing and Beyond

Originally situated within the retail packaging sector, 2011 saw the company buy out a local competitor and move further into the industrial packaging market, gaining knowledge and growing product range to include a wealth of protective and postal packaging solutions.
Following year on year growth the company took its first steps into the world of manufacturing in 2013 when purchasing machinery to convert corrugated boxes. From humble beginnings Tidmas Townsend now operates five pieces of machinery and produces over 25,000 tonnes of corrugated products per year. So whether it's a small single wall box to post items out in, or a large reinforced double wall case with inserts to block, brace and protect your products, we have the capacity to provide a solution.

A local service offered online

Having had an online presence for many years our aim is to take this much further by providing customers nationwide with the same fast and reliable service we offer to our customers locally.
This means that we will offer free next day delivery (subject to minimum order value) on all items held in stock for orders placed before 2pm. That alongside our low minimum order values and hassle free 14 day returns policy is the reason our customers use us again and again.
